.:. Pokemon Emerald .:.
Pokemon Emerald, is the third "head" version of the third Generation, like Pokemon Yellow and Crystal. It sets itself in the Hoenn Region, like Ruby and Sapphire. Though it doesn't look like Emerald isn't too different between the previous versions, it does have a few major and minor ones. You may catch both Groudon and Kyogre in the seperate caverns in the seas and mountains. You have a choice if you would like to catch Latios or Latias. When you defeat the Elite Four, a the television mentions a flying Pokémon, but the color is blurred by a burst of static. The color is not visible, so your mother asks you what color it was. If the player says blue, Latios will be the Pokémon wandering around Hoenn, and if the player says red, Latios will be found on Southern Island. Other minor differences are: the protagonists' clothes have some green accessories, 2-on-2 battles are your choice, but you have to still battle one of them, one way, or another, sprites are a little animated. The biggest change would have to be the Battle Frontier, which is similar to the Battle Tower in Ruby and Sapphire, but with much more unique battles and more prizes to buy. You also get a frontier pass, which shows your frontier badges, wins and losses and a Battle Frontier Map.
